Mike Krajewski graduated from Berklee College of Music in 1998 and has fifteen years experience teaching many styles including Jazz, Funk, Rock, and Blues. In, 2001 played in a master class at Catskill Jazz Festival with Ali Ryerson, Victor Lewis, and Bob Albanese and studied with guitarist Joe Beck. He has performed throughout the northeast in various Jazz, Funk, Country, Big Band, and Theater groups and continues to record with the Grammy nominated Joey Thomas Big Band. Mr. Krajewski was on the faculty of Berkshire Country Day School, Berkshire School, and Berkshire Music School in Massachusetts. As well as teaching guitar at Berkshire Music School, he created the Jazz Workshop and Jazz Ensemble. He has also presented clinics and master classes to High Schools and Private Studios throughout Berkshire and Columbia County NY.
In May 2007, Mike completed a Master of Music degree in Jazz Studies from Georgia State University. While studying GSU he was a graduate assistant in the jazz department where he taught jazz guitar lessons as well as guitar ensemble II. Mike studied classical guitar with John Sutherland. He is currently teaching at McNally Smith College of Music where he is a full time faculty member.
