Linda Chacholiades

Linda Chacholiades studied at the University of Georgia, Mozarteum Conservatory, Salzburg, Austria, and holds a Master of Music Degree in Piano Performance from Cleveland Institute of Music. She has performed in several piano competitions including the 1998 Gerschefski Competition where she was awarded honorable mention, a finalist in both the 2001 Greek Women’s University Club Music Competition, Chicago, IL, and in the 2001 Ludmilla Knezkova-Hussey International Piano Competition, Bathurst, Canada. She has studied piano with Jerome Rose, Evgeny Rivkin, Anita Pontremoli, Daniel Shapiro, and harpsichord with Egbert Ennulat. Ms. Chacholiades formerly served on the faculty of Berkshire Community College and Berkshire Music School in Pittsfield, MA, where she was in demand as an accompanist and chamber musician as well as a solo pianist.
Linda has ten years experience instructing pianists of all ages and levels. She stresses the importance of proper technique, knowledge of music theory, and recital etiquette to all students. She has helped students as young as the age of five learn to play and enjoy music, as well as success in helping students achieve a Bachelor's degree in Music.
